Description of Projects

A food basket for Yemen was formulated based on the per capita Daily Allowance for Energy. The Tasks include the following:-
- Developing the country’s dietary guidelines and the recommended daily allowance (RDAs) for calories and nutrients.
- Calculating the current national’s average calories & nutrients intake using monthly food consumption data obtained from 1998 Family Budget Survey (FBS). - Recommending well-balanced and low cost food items based on price listed in the 1998 FB
